  1. Dela, this is great! To be honest, I’m not a stickler for skincare regime and almost do nothing for my face. At the end of the day I just want to hit the sack! Now I’m thinking this is so, so important esp as I’m getting older. Loved the blog on curly hair. I’ve always felt there is a great shortage of products and hairstylists for my kind of hair. Thanks for the product names as well. Look forward to reading more!

    1. Hi!! A great toner is actually good old Rosewater. Forest Essentials makes a good one! For a night cream, Olay Regenerist will relieve dryness and add a glow. Use it every night for the next few months and you will see a difference. As for pre-wedding treatments, I don’t see anything wrong in pampering your skin. Is it necessary? Not really. Is it relaxing? Hell ya!

    1. Hi Archana. If your skin has acne, I suggest NOT using a face scrub. Instead, use an exfoliating toner that removes the dead skin cells very gently and doesn’t cause the acne to spread. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Astringent Micro-Exfoliant Toner and
The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner are good choices. For a serum, I would suggest Clinique Acne Solutions Acne + Line Correcting Serum or Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution.

Remember, you can NOT use any of these products if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant.

        1. Hi Archana, it’s always better to be safe than sorry when you’re planning a baby. I prefer using simple products that work on very sensitive skin and babies – just to be extra careful. I like Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Serum because it doesn’t have all the dangerous ingredients. I also like John Masters Organic 100% Pure Argan Oil as a face serum – once again no harmful chemicals. Hope this helps.
