The lazy girl’s guide to a 2-minute morning skincare routine!

For those who want to look amazing without any effort.

Morning skincare routine for lazy girls.

I admit it. I’m lazy.

I’d rather snooze in bed till the very last moment and then make a crazy dash to get into the shower, dress up and leave the house – all at the speed of light!

So what about my exhaustive skincare routine? Where’s the time for that? Well, I do it in just 2 minutes flat. Yup, I ain’t kidding. Here’s how.

1. Sleep on 2 pillows.

This is an amazing trick I’ve learnt to prevent dark circles and puffiness around the eyes when you wake up. When you elevate your head, the fluids can’t pool under your eyes – they drain out!

So no need for an eye cream in the morning!

2. Use a 2-in-one cleanser + scrub.

Kill two birds with one stone when the race against time is on.

Using a cleanser with a scrub first thing in the morning removes dead and dull skin cells and brightens skin tone.

Stuff I ❤️: Origins Ginzing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser wakes my skin up and makes it look nice and bright. Oh, and it smells amazingly juicy – just what I need on a sleepy morning!

3. Use a sunscreen with moisturiser.

Again, you save time (duh!). Just make sure the moisturizer has a high SPF or you won’t be properly protected from the sun.

Tip: SPF 15 in a moisturizer is NOT enough. It’s only gives you a false sense of security, while the sun continues to damage your skin. That’s because you use very little moisturizer all over your face, so the sunscreen is barely there. You need at least a dime-sized amount of sun protection, and a pea-sized moisturizer just ain’t quite cutting it!

4. Pop a Vitamin C supplement.

Your body needs Vitamin C to make collagen, and since you don’t have the time to apply fancy serums and moisturizers, take it orally. It works just as well.

Warning: If you want fab skin, you should religiously follow a proper regimen. This is for days when you just don’t have time to make it happen.
