What the heck is MULTI-MASKING? And why you should definitely be doing it!

This latest skincare craze can actually give you the best skin ever!

Have you ever noticed how some parts of your face are more prone to skin issues, while others are absolutely ok? It’s actually really common to have a greasy forehead and nose, a dry under-eye area and normal cheeks.

Hello Multi-Masking!!

As the name suggests, why use only one kind of mask to solve multiple skin concerns when you should be using different kinds of masks on different parts of your face?
This makes so much sense, I can’t believe it took us all so long to figure it out.

The beauty of multimasking is that it is literally catered for you by you. Afterall, who knows your skin better than you do, right?

So how do you multi-mask?

It’s really simple. Wash your face at night and don’t use any product at all. Then, look at your skin in the mirror the first thing in the morning. What do you see?

Parts that are oily or acne-prone, need a purifying clay mask to suck out all the excess oil and gunk.
Dry areas would benefit with a hydrating mask or even a sheet mask (cut out those parts and stick them to your face).
If certain parts tend to be dull (usually cheeks and jawline), use a brightening mask there.
If your skin has a sensitive patch, dab on a mask with soothing ingredients such as aloe vera, cucumber or chamomile.

Just do it as per your own skin’s needs.
So you can actually keep changing it up to suit your skin’s ever changing needs.
And when you take it all off, you will be surprised at how amazing your skin actually looks!

Parts that need de-greasing won’t have that hated shine, dull areas look brighter and refreshed, dry bits are hydrated and supple.

Stuff I ❤️: For my T-zone, I absolutely adore Glamglow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment as it soaks up all the extra oil and leaves my skin feeling tingly fresh.
For the apples of my cheeks, I’m hooked on to Forest Essentials Facial Treatment Masque Mysore Sandalwood and Nagkesar – my pores are tightened and skin is brightened instantly.
For the cheeks and jawline (my drier parts), I swear by Fresh Rose Face Mask as it cools, soothes, hydrates and tones my skin.
