The most luxurious facewash ever made.

There’s just something about Chanel. Sigh!
You enter the store, your senses are overwhelmed, and you leave with a product that you just didn’t need.

So I get home feeling all giddy with excitement about my latest Chanel facewash – the Mousse Douceur Rinse-Off Foaming Mousse Cleanser Balance + Anti-Pollution.

The tube looks all fancy (as all things Chanel do) and the cap opens really really well – weird but true. You only need a pea size amount of the facewash. That tiny smidge lathers into the most luxurious foam ever! It’s a soft cushiony cloud. And it glided onto my skin effortlessly – like a veil of silk.

Even the smell, though a bit perfume-y is indulgent. Once I rinsed it off, my oily skin felt perfectly clean, not dry, not tight, no residue – just incredibly soft and supple skin. I literally squealed in delight.

I was always searching for that ideal facewash – one that can clean really well, but with stripping my skin. I think I found it in Chanel.

Another interesting thing…it’s made in Japan! Yup, an iconic French product made in Japan. Now let me tell you, that’s a good thing. I love skincare products that are made in Japan because the Japanese really understand beauty and tend to use very high quality ingredients. So that was actually a happy surprise.

I’ve been using this product for a year now and I still enjoy the ritual of cleaning my face with it. It’s simply incredible. A little goes a long way and I just purchased by second tube. So though it seems expensive, it really isn’t because it lasts and lasts and lasts.

MY VERDICT: This is the best foaming face wash I have ever used. It’s lathers brilliantly, cleans completely and leaves your skin feeling plump and refreshed. What’s there not to love?
