How to NOT grow a moustache (in 4 super easy ways)!

“It is so embarrassing!” says every woman with facial hair.

But you don’t have to let it get you down and destroy your confidence.
You just have to find the perfect way to get rid of your annoying hair.

There are many hair removal methods, from waxing to threading to tweezing to shaving to depilatory creams… They do remove your hair temporarily, but they also harm your sensitive facial skin, causing other skin problems like redness, bumps, ingrown hairs… and worse.

So what is a girl to do to get a smooth hairless face?!!!

Along with your current hair removal method, try these amazing natural remedies. They may take a long time to work and should be done regularly for a few months. But you will notice a BIG difference. Soon, you will be using your regular hair removal method less and less, until you won’t need it anymore!

That’s because these natural techniques make your hair follicle weaker and your hair thinner and lighter. Because they are totally natural, they are gentle on your skin, and also make it healthy and radiant!

It doesn’t get better than this.

1. Oat scrub.

1 tbsp oats (grind coarsely)
2 tbsps lemon juice
3 tbsps honey

Mix the coarsely ground oats with the lemon juice and honey until they form a sticky paste.

Apply on the areas where the hair grows.
Leave it on for 15 minutes.
To remove, wet your hands with water and scrub for a few minutes first, rubbing your fingers over the area in a circular motion.
Now wash off with warm water.
Apply moisturizer immediately afterwards to soothe skin.

Do this at least 3 times a week, for a month to see a marked improvement.

Why this works:
Oats scrub away fine hair. Lemon juice bleaches the skin and hair. Honey softens the hair, sticking to it, so it pulls out more easily.

2. Gelatin Peel-off Mask.

1 tbsp of gelatin (unflavored)
2-3 tbsps of milk
3-4 drops of lime juice

In a bowl, add the gelatin, milk and lime juice and stir till properly combined.
Now heat this mixture for 1-2 minutes on a stove till warm and sticky.

Apply this sticky mixture immediately on your face. Be very careful near your eyebrows and lashes.
Let it dry on your face (it only takes a few minutes).
Now peel it off.
You will find facial hair (and blackheads) peel off from your face and stick on to the dried mask.

Do this at least 2-3 times a week, for a month to see a major reduction in hair growth.

Why this works:
Gelatin sticks to hair, so it pulls out more easily. The lactic acid in the milk exfoliates and softens your skin. While the lemon juice lightens the skin and hair, preventing any darkening.

1 tbsp lemon juice
4 tbsps honey

In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice and honey.

Apply on the affected area and leave on 15-20 minutes.
When it is dry, remove it with a towel soaked in warm water.

Repeat this 3 times a week for a few months, until hair is gone.

Why this works:
Honey softens and sticks to hair, so that it comes off easily. While the lemon juice exfoliates and bleaches your skin and hair, so you don’t get any dark patches.

4. Gram flour (besan) pack.

besan scrub

2 tbsps gram flour (besan)
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 teaspoon fresh cream or yogurt.
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp rosewater

Mix the besan (gram flour), turmeric powder, cream/yogurt, lemon juice and rosewater to make a thick paste. If the mixture is a bit runny, add a little more besan and turmeric.

Apply it on your skin and leave it on till it dries completely (about 15 mins).
Now, wet your fingers slightly and scrub gently in circular motions for a few minutes.
Rinse off with warm water.
Follow it up immediately with a moisturizer as this mask is very drying.

Do this every alternate day for a month to see a visible difference in your hair growth and texture.

Why this works:
Gram flour exfoliates skin and scrubs off fine hair. The turmeric powder has amazing antiseptic properties that prevents any breakouts. It also gives skin a beautiful glow. The fresh cream or yogurt contains lactic acid that gently exfoliates and softens skin and hair. The lemon juice lightens your skin and hair. The rosewater soothes, tones and brightens skin. Perfection!
